There's a lot of 'pop culture psychology' available online these days regarding our physical and mental health. But it's never been a secret that eating wonderful fresh food, spending time outdoors, moving, sweating, laughing and relaxing are classic remedies and some of the best medicine we can give ourselves. Finding the time to do this can be a luxury for many. This weekend is devoted to being an escape from your regular life where you will focus on yourself and give your mind, body and soul a luxurious treat. In addition to the some beautiful hiking trails you will experience and explore, you have the option at our cozy Inn to try some 'thermal cycling' (if you wish, of course).
What is Thermal Cycling? Thermal Cycling is a 2000 year old ritual founded by the Nordic countries. It involves alternating between hot and cold temperatures followed by a period of rest. This cycle should be repeated three times. You will feel some of the effects immediately. (Especially your increased blood circulation).
We cycle between our SUANA - COLD TUB - SAUNA - relaxing chairs around a fire.
More details, benefits and techniques will be discussed onsite.
